Breaking Math: Where Numbers Get

WILD!

Textbooks got you down? Equations making your head spin? Buckle up, because Breaking Math is here to show you the wild side of numbers! We’re your fearless guides, Gabriel Hesch and Autumn Phaneuf, and we’re on a mission to prove math is way more than dusty textbooks and boring drills.

We weren’t always number nerds, mind you. In fact, math class used to inspire the same enthusiasm as watching paint dry. But then, something incredible happened. Numbers started whispering secrets, equations danced a funky jig, and suddenly, math became…well, kind of awesome! That’s when Breaking Math burst onto the scene, a glorious rebellion against the tyranny of times tables and the snoozefest of textbooks.

Gabriel and Autumn are here to share our math epiphany with the world! There’s Gabriel, the guy who once used complex analysis to win a pie-eating contest (seriously, don’t ask!), and Autumn, who can decipher ancient Babylonian clay tablets faster than you can say “Pythagorean Theorem” (it’s a party trick, folks). But Autumn’s not just about dusty artifacts. She sees the hidden math in everything, even the humble art of origami and card games.

Join us, intrepid listener, as we delve into the wacky, wonderful, and downright bizarre world of mathematics! We’ll chat with fascinating guests, uncover the hidden beauty of equations, and explore how math connects to everything from science and history to, well, the just plain strange.

P.S. Still not convinced? We dare you to listen to just one episode. We bet you’ll be hooked!
